Skoda Kushaq: Czech automaker Skoda has today started production of its much-awaited SUV Skoda Kushaq in India. According to the press release issued by the company, it has been announced to start production of Kushak SUV at Chakan plant in Pune, and it has also been confirmed that the deliveries of this car will start from July. That is, it would not be wrong to say that Kushak can be launched any time in June.

However, on June 10, the company will also launch its new generation, Octavia, in India. Kushaq is the first offering as part of the company’s MQB-A0-IN platform and 2.0 project in India. If you do not know, then let us tell you that the name Kushak itself means ‘king’ or ’emperor’, but now only time will tell whether this car can rule the segment like its name or not. The Skoda Kushaq when launched in India will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and the soon-to-be-launched Volkswagen Taigun.
Skoda Kushaq Options and Price
The Skoda Kushaq will be offered two petrol engine options which will include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. At present, it is too early to say anything about the price of this car but it is believed that the company can launch it at a price between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
