Since going out is currently no option, give your mom a sweet-hearted surprise by baking a wonderful cake for her at home. Through some basic ingredients from your pantry or local store, you can make these simple to bake delicious cake recipes.

Tea Making Cake

Part:

  • Maida (2 cups)
  • Baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Baking soda (1 tsp)
  • Crushed cardamom (1 tsp)
  • Crushed cinnamon (1 tsp)
  • Crushed ginger (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)

Nutmeg

  • Whole milk (1 cup)
  • Tea (1 tbsp)
  • Bananas (medium plus 3 more)
  • Unsalted butter (1/2 cup)
  • Brown Sugar (1 cup)
  • Eggs (2)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)

Process:

  1. Take a mixing bowl and filter the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and nutmeg together and keep aside.
  2. Take milk and tea in a pan and keep it to a boil. Take off the used tea after throwing it away and let it stand for 20 minutes. Mash the banana and prepared milk in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Strain butter and sugar in a second bowl for about 2 minutes.
  4. Introduce a mixture of vanilla extract and banana until mixed.
  5. Add the flour mixture and mix until mixed.
  6. Add the cake mixture by grating an 11″ baking dish.
  7. Bake from 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Check with the toothpick to see if it comes out clean when placed in the bread.
  8. Let the bake cool for about 20 minutes before removing.

Fresh Strawberry Cake

Part:

  • Flour (3 cups)
  • Baking powder (1 tbsp)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Unsalted butter (1 cup)
  • Granulated sugar (1 3/4 cup)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Egg yolk (out of 2)
  • Milk (1 1/4 cup)
  • Vanilla extract (2 tsp)
  • Heavy cream (3 cups)
  • Ground sugar (1 cup)

Cream cheese

  • Vanilla extract (1/2 tsp)
  • Optional – chopped strawberries for decoration

Process:

  1. Take a mixing bowl and strain the flour, baking powder, and salt in it together and keep aside.
  2. In another bowl, sauté butter and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixing blender.
  3. Slowly introduce the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla while continuing the blending.
  4. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture and half of the milk mixture alternately slowly. Bend the batter slowly.
  5. Divide the finished batter into three equal parts.
  6. Smooth the round pots and add the cake mixture.
  7. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until the toothpick is cleaned when placed in the bread.
  8. Let the bake cool for about 10 minutes before removing.

For frosting:

Strain the heavy cream until the soft peaks are formed and add the powdered sugar to it. Add the cream cheese and vanillin until it swells. Add the strawberries and mix until it is consistent.

Wait for the layers of cake to cool completely before putting the topping.

Lemon cake

Part:

  • Flour (3 cups)
  • Baking powder (1 1/2 tsp)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp)
  • Butter (1 cup)
  • Sugar (2 1/2 cups)
  • Eggs (5)
  • Vanilla extract (1/2 tsp)
  • Lemon juice (1/4 cup)
  • Buttermilk (3/4 cup)

Process:

  1. Take a mixing bowl and strain the flour, baking powder, and baking soda salt in it together and keep aside.
  2. In another bowl, sauté butter and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixing blender.
  3. Slowly add the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extracts while continuing the blending.
  4. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture and lemon juice and buttermilk alternately slowly. Bend the batter slowly.
  5. Divide the finished batter into 2 equal parts.
  6. 2 Smoothen the 8-inch round pots and add the cake mixture.
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the toothpick is cleaned when placed in the bread.
  8. Let the bake cool for about 10 minutes before removing.

Divide the cake into 4 layers using a long serrated knife. Fill with lemon curd, jam, or icing. Apply crumb coats and almost homemade buttercream frosting and decorate as desired.

For frosting:

Strain the lemon or curd or jam between the layers with lemon curd, jam, or icing. Apply crumb layer and buttercream and decorate as per the choice.

Chocolate cake fudge

Part:

  • Unsalted butter (3/4 cup)
  • Maida (2 cups)
  • Bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • Buttermilk (13/4 cup)
  • Vanilla extract (2 tsp)
  • Almond extract (1/2 tsp)
  • Eating almonds (1 cup)
  • Cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
  • Baking powder (2 tsp)
  • Baking soda (1/4 tsp)
  • Kosher salt (11/2 tsp)
  • Brown sugar (13/4 cup)
  • Eggs (2)

Process:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, heat the chocolate and place it in a double boiler. Keep going until it melts.
  2. Add buttermilk and vanilla extract when it cools down.
  3. Take a mixing bowl and filter the flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda salt together and keep aside.
  4. In another bowl, sauté the butter and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixing blender.
  5. Slowly introduce the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla while continuing the blending.
  6. Pour 1/3 of the flour mixture and half of the milk mixture alternately slowly. Bend the batter slowly.
  7. Grease a cake pan and add the mixture of cake. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the toothpick is cleaned when put into the bread. Let the bake cool for about 10 minutes before removing.

Mango cake

Part:

  • Eggs (2)
  • Baking powder (2 tsp)
  • Cake flour (3/4 cup)
  • Salt (1/4 tsp)
  • Sugar (1 cup)
  • Unsalted butter (100 g)
  • Vanilla essence (1 tsp)
  • Lemon juice (1/8 tsp)
  • Milk (1/2 cup) for whipped cream
  • Double cream (1 cup)
  • Mango Cubes (1 cup)
  • Icing sugar (2 tbsp)
  • Vanilla extract for mango yogurt (1 tsp)
  • Mango 500 g (chopped)
  • Egg yolk (4)
  • Sugar (1/3 cup)
  • Salt (a pinch)
  • Lemon juice (3 tbsp)
  • Olive oil (1/4 cup)

Process:

  1. Take a mixing bowl and strain the flour, baking powder, and salt in it together and keep aside.
  2. In another bowl, sauté butter, lime, and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixing blender.
  3. Slowly introduce the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla while continuing the blending.
  4. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture and half of the milk mixture alternately slowly. Bend the batter slowly.
  5. Grease a cake pan and add the cake mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the toothpick is cleaned when added to the bread. Let the bake cool for about 10 minutes before removing.

Take mango pieces, salt, egg yolk, and lemon juice and mix well. Drain the mixture and put it in a bowl of water on a low flame. Stir occasionally, remove from the heat, and add olive oil.
