UGC NET Exam 2021: Schedule released for the exam, here is the update on date and timing

UGC NET Exam 2021: The National Testing Agency will conduct the NET examination in 81 subjects at various examination centers in India to determine eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor in various Indian Universities/Colleges/Institutes recognized by UGC.

The examination for 7 subjects of NET i.e. Bengali, Kannada, Home Science, Hindi, Geography, Sociology, and Sanskrit will be held between 15-23 December 2021. The examination schedule for the same will be announced soon on the NTA website.

UGC NET 2021 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) with two papers. Paper 1 and 2 will be held in the same session. Paper 1 will have 50 questions and will be of 100 marks. Paper 2 will have 100 questions, it will be of 200 marks.

There will be no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total questions will be 150 and they will be 300 marks. The total duration of both papers will be 3 hours.

Paper 1 will have 50 objective-type questions, but no negative marking. Paper 2 will have subjective questions.
