Coronavirus India: The second wave of the Corona epidemic is becoming extremely dangerous. There are increasing cases of infection in this, as well as the graph of deaths is also rising rapidly. So far, the maximum number of new cases of coronavirus infection in the country has been reported in one day. These cases have almost doubled in 10 days. It took 21 days to reach one lakh to two lakh cases in the US. The infection is growing rapidly in 16 states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Kerala. Of these, Maharashtra alone has the most active cases.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, more than 2 lakh new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period, 1,038 people have died and the number of dead has increased to 1,73,123. For the first time since October 18 last year, more than a thousand people died in a single day. However, the death rate is steadily declining and currently, it has come down to 1.24 percent. The total number of infected in the country has crossed one crore of 40 lakh 74 thousand. Out of these, more than one crore of 24 lakh 29 thousand patients has been completely cured. The recovery rate for patients has come down to 88.92 percent.

More than 82 percent of new cases in 10 states

According to the ministry, the situation is more serious in 10 states and union territories. Out of the new cases reported in the last one day, 82.04 percent are from these states. These include Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Kerala. However, infection cases are increasing in a total of 16 states and union territories, including these states.

More than 1.3 million tests of Coronavirus India

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 1Corona3 lakh 84 thousand 549 samples were tested on Wednesday to detect corona infection across the country. Together, a total of 26 crores 20 lakh 3 thousand samples have been tested so far.
