Covid-19 India: The condition of corona virus infection in the country is becoming serious. Today once again more than 4 lakh new cases have come and about 4 thousand people have died. For the last 10 days, 3000 new deaths are being recorded continuously. In the second wave of Kovid-19, there are still deficiencies of oxygen, medicine and beds in hospitals of many states. On Thursday, Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 62,194 new cases and 853 deaths. This was followed by 49,058 new cases of infection in Karnataka and 42,464 in Kerala. The number of active cases in India is 35,66,398. In which only 4 states Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala have half active cases (18,06,900). Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala are among the 10 states where 72.19 percent of the total cases are being filed in a single day. So far, 16.25 crore vaccine doses have been put in the country, in which 3.15 crore people have got both doses.

184 new cases of corona virus in Mizoram

In the last 24 hours in Mizoram, 184 new cases of corona virus have been reported. According to the state government, the total number of positive cases is now 7,147, of which 1,779 are active cases. 5,351 have been cured in the state and so far 17 people have died.

The first consignment of medical goods from the Netherlands arrived in India – MEA

The Netherlands has also come forward in cooperation with India. The aircraft reached India this morning with 449 ventilators, 100 oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that in the coming days, the rest of the medical supplies will also arrive from the Netherlands.

Consignment of medical supplies reached India from Switzerland

Switzerland has sent medical supplies worth more than Rs 24 crore to India, including oxygen concentrators and ventilators, to help in the fight against the corona virus. Over 13 tonnes of supplies including 600 oxygen concentrators, 50 ventilators arrived in India this morning.
