India-China Tension: The deadlock continues along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China. A meeting of the Corps of Commanders of India and China is scheduled to take place on October 12, with an agenda to set out the withdrawal of troops from all the conflict points in eastern Ladakh. Negotiations are to be held. This will be the seventh round of Corps Commander level talks between India and China. The deadlock continues on the border so far because of China’s stubborn stance, India is trying its best to reduce this tension.

Meanwhile, the US has made a big claim about China. He has once again attacked China. The US has said that China has mobilized more than 60,000 troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) amid the deadlock on the India-China border. He has targeted China for this bad attitude and raising warnings for the Quad countries.

Pompeo not only reprimanded China’s behavior over tensions at the border but also said that Beijing has become a threat to the quad countries. Explain that the Group of Foreign Ministers of the Indo-Pacific countries is known as the Quad. The group includes India, Japan, the USA, and Australia.

The foreign ministers of these countries met in Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday. This was the first meeting of foreign ministers since the Corona epidemic began. The meeting of the foreign ministers took place in the Indo-Pacific, South China Sea amid China’s aggressive military attitude and tensions with India on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

Pompeo, who returned to the US after attending a second quad meeting with his counterparts from India, Japan, and Australia in Tokyo, said at the ‘The Guy Benson’ show on Friday that the Indian Army is looking at the deployment of 60,000 Chinese troops on the northern border. He said, ‘Last week I was with my counterparts in India, Australia, and Japan. I went to attend the quad meet.

It is a format that includes four countries with large democracies and powerful economies. Each of these countries is threatened by the Chinese Communist Party. ‘ Pompeo called the meeting with India’s foreign minister S Jaishankar in Tokyo on Tuesday fruitful. In another interview, Pompeo stated that in this fight with China, quad countries need to make the US an ally.

India-China Tension: forces deployed on the border

The deadlock still persists due to China’s obstinate attitude in eastern Ladakh. The soldiers of both countries are standing on the border. Meanwhile, India and China had a China Study Group (CSG) meeting ahead of the Core Commander’s meeting on Monday. In this, along with reviewing the current situation in East Ladakh, the main issues to be raised by India in the Core Commanders meeting were discussed.

The CSG comprises External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, and heads of the three wings of the Army. The Indian contingent will be led by Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, the 14th Corps commander at Leh in the corps commander’s meeting to be held on Monday.
