India Coronavirus Vaccination Update: Everyone is expecting the vaccine amid the Corona epidemic crisis in the country. The vaccine is expected to arrive early next year. Meanwhile, now the central government is busy planning a vaccination against the coronavirus. According to the central government, the government is currently working on making a list of the people who will be the first to be vaccinated by Corona.

300 million people will be the first to be vaccinated

A local media report said that the government had started identifying about 300 million people, who would be given the first time the vaccine was ready. A media report said that frontline workers such as health care professionals, police, sanitation workers would be the ones who would be first introduced to the corona vaccine. According to media reports, there will be 60 crore vaccines for about 300 million people.

Health frontline workers will be vaccinated first

According to media reports, once the vaccine is approved, then the vaccine will start. There are four categories in the priority list – about 50 to 70 lakh health care professionals, more than two crore frontline workers, around 26 crore people above 50 years of age, and people who are less than 50 years old but suffering from many other diseases. Huh.

23% of the population will be covered in the first phase

The coronavirus vaccination scheme, which is currently in the draft stage, aims to cover about 23% of India’s population in the first phase. The expert group formed about the vaccine has drafted the plan. Inputs were also taken from central agencies and states. According to the plan made by this group led by NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul, the first phase will cover 23% of the country’s population.

The report says that the final plan for this is likely to be ready by October-November. An estimated 60 crore doses will be given to the 30 crore people selected in the first phase for corona vaccination.

Significantly, earlier this month, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan had said that India is likely to get 50 crore vaccine doses by July next year for vaccination of about 25 crore people. Officials have said that applying the Corona vaccine to 1.3 billion people in India would be a huge task that could be stretched even by 2022.
