Jammu: Jammu’s Air Force Station has been rocked by the late-night explosion. Officials said two explosions occurred late Saturday in a span of five minutes. Officials said the blasts took place around 2.15 pm. However, there were no reports of anyone injured in the blast. A team of police and forensics has reached the spot as a precautionary measure and is investigating.
The Indian Air Force also tweeted that there were no casualties. The Air Force said that two low-intensity blasts took place at Jammu Air Force Station. The roof of the building has been damaged in the first blast. The second blast occurred on the ground, with no information about any damage.
Two low intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area.

The defense spokesman said, “There have been reports of a blast at the Air Force base in Jammu. There were no jawans killed and no equipment was damaged. The investigation is underway and detailed details are awaited.”
Security forces sealed the area within minutes after the incident. Sources said a high-level meeting of senior police officers and Indian Air Force officials is underway at the Air Force Station. Jammu Air Force Station is a civil airport.
