Weather Alert: In North India, heat and humidity are likely to bring relief to the people. Heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in north India soon. Wind from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea is flowing into the plains, which has predicted rain from Sunday as a regional cyclone has formed. Light rain is likely to occur in the capital of Delhi today. In Addition, a fresh warning of heavy rain has been issued in Himachal Pradesh. The farmers have somehow prepared a paddy nursery. In this regard, The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that rainfall activity is likely to increase from July 18 to 21 with heavy to very heavy rainfall in Punjab, Haryana, Eastern Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh and moderate to heavy rainfall at isolated places in Delhi on July 18. Rainfall activity is likely to increase with heavy to very heavy rainfall in western Himalayan region and Uttar Pradesh from July 17 to July 21.
The Met department has said that the remaining parts of India are likely to continue to receive heavy rainfall in different parts of India during the next six to seven days except Gujarat. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra areas, Karnataka, Kerala. The IMD has said that heavy rain accompanied by heavy rains is likely to occur at isolated places over northeast India and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim by July 19. In Himachal Pradesh, the Met department has issued a warning of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in the plains, lower hills and central hills on Saturday.
