Kisan Andolan: The gathering of farmers against the agricultural laws continues on the borders of Delhi. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday alleged that the central government wants to shift the farmers’ movement from the borders of Delhi to Jind in Haryana, but the farmers will not allow this conspiracy to succeed. He said that the farmers would not move away from the protest site along the borders of Delhi at any cost.
Rakesh Tikait told reporters after addressing a gathering of farmers, “The central government wants to shift the protest site from Delhi borders to Jind in Haryana. But we will not allow his conspiracy to succeed. We will not move from the borders of Delhi at any cost.
However, he said that the farmers’ protest against the three agricultural laws at toll plazas in Haryana and other places will continue as before. Earlier, while addressing the farmers’ meeting, he said that the protest will continue till the demands of the farmers are not met. Let us tell you that the demonstration of farmers has been going on for a long time from Tikri, Singhu, Ghaziabad to all the borders bordering Delhi.
