Navratri 2022: Every year, Navratris come twice a year, in which different forms of Maa Durga are worshipped for nine days. People believe that these days the mother fulfills everyone’s wishes by being happy with devotion. The Navratri festival will run from April 2 to April 10. According to the belief, on the first day, The Mother Queen comes on a horse, and on the closing day, she rides on a buffalo and leaves. During this time, a lot of services are done to Mata Rani for the whole nine days so that there is happiness, prosperity, and happiness in the life of the devotees. It is believed that on these nine days Mother Rani is worshipped by wearing clothes of different colors, let us know-

According to the panchang, Navratri started with the pratipada of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, on this day was Thursday. Since Thursday is related to Lord Vishnu and Lord Vishnu is more fond of yellow color. Therefore, the use of yellow color in the puja on the first day of Navratri is considered auspicious.

First day: On the first day of Navratri, the first form of Maa Durga, Mata Shailputri is worshipped. It is believed that on this day it is auspicious to worship by wearing yellow clothes.

Day 2: The second day of Navratri is dedicated to Mata Brahmacharini, according to the scriptures it is said that Maa Brahmacharini is fond of green color and on this day one should worship by wearing green clothes to please her.

Day 3: On the third day of Navratri, the Chandraghanta form of Maa Durga is worshipped, and on this day there are beliefs of wearing brown clothes while performing puja. It is believed that wearing the clothes of the mother’s choice of color makes Mother Chandraghanta happy.

4th day: On the 4th day of Navratri, the Kushmanda form of Durga Maa is worshipped. It is believed that devotees should wear orange-colored clothes during the puja on this day.

Day Five: The fifth day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Skandamata, it is said that Mother Skandamata is fond of white color. Therefore, on this day, one should wear white clothes and worship the mother. This brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to the house.

6th day: On the sixth day of Navratri, mother Katyayani is worshipped. According to the scriptures, Mother Katyayani is very fond of red color. Therefore, devotees should worship in red-colored clothes while performing puja on the sixth day.

Day 7: The seventh day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Kalaratri, the favorite color of Maa Kalaratri is blue. Therefore, while offering prayers on this day, to please Maa Kalaratri, devotees should wear blue clothes and worship the Mother.

Eighth day: On the eighth day of Navratri, the Mahagauri form of Maa Durga is worshipped. Mother Mahagauri is very fond of pink color, so devotees should wear pink clothes while performing puja on the eighth day.

Ninth day: On the 9th and last day of Navratri on the concluding day i.e. on the day of Navami, the Siddhidatri form of Maa Durga is worshipped. According to astrology, it is considered auspicious to wear purple-colored clothes on this day.
