Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale: Walmart-owned Flipkart said on Wednesday it will deploy more than 2,000 electric vehicles in its fleet of delivery vehicles ahead of the festive season and Big Billion Days. A statement from the company said, “These 2,000 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers will be deployed in 90 cities in India and the move will help in giving a smile on people’s faces this festive season. ”

Earlier this year, Flipkart committed to deploying 25,000 EVs for 100 percent fleet electrification in its supply chain by 2030 as part of its collaboration with The Climate Group’s EV100 campaign. Flipkart Head (Sustainability and Social Responsibility) Mahesh Pratap Singh said the festive season is about creating progressive value for all stakeholders.

“We are proud to fulfill our promise to bring a permanent festive season with each order from our customers. Flipkart teams have come together to ensure that our delivery officers are distributing thousands of pin codes in more than 2,000 electrics in 90 cities. ”
