Scientists have recalled the Paris agreement’s resolutions, saying that even after six years, the direction of lowering temperatures and reducing emissions of harmful gases has not been significant. The situation is continuously deteriorating. The G7 Summit should draw a roadmap for the announcement and implementation of the environment ahead of the World Environment Conference to be held in Glasgow in November. Alternative fuel means should be provided to poor countries to reduce emissions of harmful gases. Experts at the University of Exeter and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development have issued a statement cautioning against future threats.
Leaders perform with masks
Activists from environmental protection organizations staged a beach demonstration to grab the attention of leaders and media who attended the G7 Summit in Britain. The summit is being held at a resort on another coast of the same sea. Hundreds of protesters demonstrated wearing face masks and carrying cards on their demands in their hands. The demonstration was organized by The Against Sewage, an organization opposed to the dumping of dirt in the sea.
